Welcome to our Elefantitos' family! Founded in 2021 in the heart of Bethesda, MD, our school has grown with love and purpose—and we’re thrilled to now continue our journey in Rockville, just minutes from the vibrant Pike & Rose community and still still conveniently close to our original location.
At the heart of our school is Owner and Founder Samantha—affectionately known as Ms. Sam—whose passion for early childhood education began at age 18 while working at her family’s preschool in Westchester County, NY. That experience inspired a shift from business studies to a lifelong dedication to nurturing young learners.

We believe that every child is a unique individual deserving of a caring, stimulating, multicultural, and safe environment—one that encourages growth in all areas: intellectual, social, physical, and emotional. Our student-centered philosophy reflects this belief. With kindness, honesty, and respect at the core of our daily practice, we create a space where children can explore, self-discover, and follow their curiosity, guided by devoted teachers. Our goal is to provide each child with an enriching early experience that lays a joyful, confident foundation for kindergarten and beyond.

With our progressive and holistic early childhood education philosophy, we recognize that each child has unique needs and interests. We thrive to provide the environment and tools your child needs to flourish to the best of their abilities.
When we expose our children to different environments and various multicultural and learning experiences, we allow them to explore their self-awareness and gain a sense of the world around them.
Once they leave Elefantitos Preschool (usually by the age of 4-5) after finishing our Preschool Curriculum they will be fully prepared for the next stage of their young lives.

Yesterday we celebrated our first year anniversary since we opened our doors to wonderful families that have entrusted their little treasures to us on their so important early years learning journey. We couldnโt be more grateful to have had the opportunity to have our school 100% to its full capacity before its first year, with all of our little ones together growing as the little family we are.
